As you are no doubt aware the Government's Rules & Regulations have now relaxed, so we are therefore looking forward to a more 'normal' 2024 Season.

We are still keeping in place hand sanitizers and would encourage Guests to use them, particularly, before entering the Dining Room as our Buffet Selection has now been reintroduced.

Since acquiring The Baytree in 2002, we have achieved and maintained a top B&B status, by winning various hotel and bed & breakfast accolades.
We achieved a 4 Star Silver Guest Accommodation Rating and a Breakfast Award by The Quality in Tourism Council (Visit Britain), in recognition of the quality, hospitality and breakfast selection offered.
We were also Highly Commended for Best Torquay Bed and Breakfast in The English Riviera Quality Awards.

The Baytree is delightfully located in a very quiet tree-lined road, with the seafront only a short stroll away. Also nearby is the historic Torre Abbey, The English Riviera Conference Centre, Torquay’s main harbour, town centre and the highly popular Princess Theatre – all within 15-20 minutes walk.
Play golf in Torquay

For those who enjoy playing golf, there are a variety of options for you to do in and around Torquay. There is a well kept pitch and putt course and a fun crazy golf course just a 10 minute walk from The Baytree. There is also Torquay golf club that offers a warm welcome to visitors looking to test their skills. As a member of Torquay golf club Chris is happy to take guests out for a round of golf (Members guests green fees would apply).
